Hyperinflated

Wow, it really has been a while since my last post. I started picking up on it as soon as I realized the fans were getting rowdy. I was recently disturbed by a comment that was made saying that I have a hyperinflated ego. This got me thinking. Do I in fact have a huge ego? I never thought of myself as that kinda person, but if the fans are saying it, maybe it's true. So I decided that step #1 was to stop referring to my friends as fans. Step #2 is to pulverize the punk that made the comment.
Since my last post I have been cross-country and back. It was then that I realized how little Hebrew I speak, seriously-it's frightening. I admit that I lived on the edge by taking busses in Israel which is generally a no-no, but it was my first time and all I can say is that the number 15 bus is my friend. Another thing I discovered on this trip is that my feet swell when I fly, at first I thought there was something wrong because my once narrow feet didn't fit back into my cheetah print mocs, but after a day they went back to normal. I also met some new faces on this trip and rekindled some old friendships, it was funny how I was hanging with folks that live in New York more than the Israelites. Lastly, I learned that I can deal with aisle seats also. I usually get window, but I figured out how to prop my pillow on the armrest so all was good. I even sat next to a lovely Uzbekistani couple. On the 12 hours flight back, 10 of which I was awake for, I had time to think of what I want for the holiday, so if you are reading this pay close attention:
1)Chia Pet, I'm talking the old school original one, nothing crazy, not Homer Simpson's head or Tweety. Just the old school lamb.
2)Stackable mugs from Anthro. They are the most brilliant things I have ever seen!
3)Diamond earring, because I lost mine and until I get new ones, I'm wearing fakes which have been causing infections. Do you really want my ears to fall off, hop to it! Diamonds!
4)Those Sneakers that have the wheels at the bottom, can you imagine me cruising through Anthro with those bad boys? I wear a 7 women's and 5 men's.
Kindly let the others know when you got me any of the above, I don't want doups!

Just to get back on track, all but 2 days upon returning from the Holyland, I went to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes, yet another childhood dream fulfilled. It was better than I could have possibly imagined accept the final scene wasn't a bunch of ladies kicking their legs in a row, rather it was the nativity. Very Festive.

This past weekend I made another appearance up in Washington Heights, the 6th greatest place on earth. It was then that I realized that it's okay to have a superinflated ego because I'm really a nice person and an awesome cook. I made a bok choy salad like no other. Unfortunately for me, people are afraid to try new things. Just to clarify, Bok Choy is in the cabbage family. Many Chinese restaurants put it in their stir fry stuff, I made a salad. Don't be afraid to try something new!

Alas, today was my last Tuesday of the semester. It was a bittersweet feeling. At one point as I was standing in a stairwell in building A, I took a moment to reflect. What kinda idiot gets locked in a stairwell(see "Flight 10:40), also, never be ashamed of where you shop, it's perfectly acceptable to shop at Macys(see "I hate Macys, NOT). And while all I could think of for the past 4 months was how badly I wanted skinny jeans, but finally they're going, going, GONE!

As I reach the end of my recap, I just wanna wish all my friends, family and fans a Merry Christmas, Jolly Kwanza and of course HAPPY CHANUKAH!

Looking forward to the presents......
